BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. — The No. 39 Notre Dame women’s golf team wrapped up play Saturday at the Bryan National Collegiate, placing 13th after three rounds at Bryan Park Champions Course (par 72, 6,386 yards).
The Irish were ninth overall after two rounds Friday and dropped four spots after a 325 (+37) on Saturday for a 304-295-304 (+60) weekend total.
Emma Albrecht carded the highest finish for the Irish, shooting a 73-72-79 to finish tied for 12th. Mia Ayer fired a 73-71-82 to come in 21st.
Isabella DiLisio (78-77-82) was Notre Dame’s third-best finisher at tied for 63rd, while freshman Abby Heck (80-76-83) was two strokes behind to finish in a tie for 68th.
Maddie Rose Hamilton (83-76-82) rounded out the Irish scoring, coming in tied for 78th in the field.
Host Wake Forest won the event, carding a 300-289-299 (+24) to finish in first. Furman (297-291-305, +27), Auburn (295-294-307, +33) and North Carolina (301-286-310, +33) rounded out the top three.
