JADARIAN PRICE

Jadarian Price is one of the most versatile players in college football, a force at running back and a difference-maker as a kickoff returner. Price is a finalist for the Hornung Award, recognizing the most versatile player in college football, and the Jet Award, recognizing the top returner in the country. He has rushed 113 times for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns, with six receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 12 kickoff returns for two touchdowns and a 37.5 kickoff return average. Both of his kickoff return touchdowns have gone for 100 yards. 

 

Price leads all FBS players in kickoff return average (37.5) and kickoff return touchdowns (2), and ranks ninth in total touchdowns (15).

Nationally, Notre Dame ranks fifth in scoring offense (41.8), fifth in team passing efficiency (168.61), 10th in passing yards per completion (14.11), 17th in passes had intercepted (6), 18th in total offense (458.5), 18th in third down conversion percentage (0.481), 18th in rushing offense (203.4) and 20th in completion percentage (0.672). 

 

Game-by-Game:

  • at MIAMI (8/31): Ran the ball six times for 45 yards… averaged 7.5 yards per carry… had a 30-yard run in the second quarter that set up the first scoring drive for the Irish
  • TEXAS A&M (9/13): Had 12 rushes for 68 yards and two TDs… recorded a seven-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 17-yard rushing TD in 3rd quarter… averaged 5.7 yards per carry
  •  PURDUE (9/20): Found the endzone four times for the Irish… became first Notre Dame player to score four touchdowns since 2023… rushed for three touchdowns, including a 21-yard score in the second quarter… returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown with 1:00 remaining in the second quarter… had nine carries for 74 yards… averaged 8.2 yard per carry…marked his second-career kickoff return touchdown

  •  NC STATE (10/11): Rushed 15 times for 66 yards… longest run went for 20 yards… returned two kickoffs for 39 yards
  • USC (10/18): Rushed for 87 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown… found the endzone from 16 yards out in the second quarter to give the Irish the lead… averaged 6.7 yards per carry… returned two kickoffs for 113 yards, including a 100-yard kick return for a touchdown in the third quarter that regained the lead for Notre Dame… became the first player in program history to have multiple kick return touchdowns of 100 yards or more for a touchdown in a single season… is now just the third player in Notre Dame history to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns against a single team during their career
  • AT BOSTON COLLEGE (11/1): recorded 18 yards on nine carries… had one reception for three yards… returned a kickoff 22 yards
  • NAVY (11/9): Saw playing time for the Irish… ran 10 times for 47 yards… scored a two-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter to give the Irish the lead
  • at PITTSBURGH (11/15): Rushed eight times for 21 yards… longest run went for 13 yards… had two kickoff returns for 71 yards… longest return went for 43 yards
  • SYRACUSE (11/22): Saw playing time for the Irish… ran four times for 71 yards and a touchdown… averaged 17.5 yards per carry… scored a 58-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter to set the program record for most points scored in the opening quarter (35)
  • at STANFORD (11/29): Continued his stretch of versatility and game-changing plays with a career-high three receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown, adding six carries for 15 yards and a rushing touchdown… also served as Notre Dame’s primary kickoff returner.
