Fan Fun Zone

Join us at the Fan Fun Zone located inside Gate C of Notre Dame Stadium when gates open until 3pm. This area will feature balloon artists, face painters and a free photo booth presented by Allstate. Ticketed fans may access this area by entering the Stadium at Gates A, B, D or E and proceeding through the concourse to Gate C. (Note: The Gate C entry will be closed)

Clear Bag Policy

As a part of an ongoing commitment to safety and security, aligning with the best practices at major entertainment and athletics venues, the University of Notre Dame instituted a Clear Bag Policy for Notre Dame Stadium, including Corbett Family Hall, O’Neill Hall, and Duncan Student Center during home game Saturdays and varsity sporting events in all athletics facilities.

General Accessibility

All tickets are general admission. ADA seating is available; however, if you need assistance finding an accessibility seat, please see one of the ushers in the stadium.

Wheelchairs

The University is unable to provide guests with wheelchairs, scooters, or walkers, or store those items belonging to guests during events. The University does have wheelchairs available to transport guests with mobility issues to and from their seats, though they cannot remain with guests. See an Usher to request this service at Notre Dame Stadium.

Open Captioning

Open captioning will be provided on a portion of both the east and west ribbon boards. The captioning will be provided for all spoken word that comes through the in-stadium sound system.

Cashless Venue

Vendor and concession stands inside Notre Dame Stadium are cashless. Payment options include credit or debit cards, Apple and Android Pay. A convenient kiosk station where you can transfer cash to a Visa gift card is located at Gate C. The gift card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

Courtesy Guidelines

NOTRE DAME IS COMMITTED TO

  • Respectful Behavior: Fans are expected to be courteous to fellow attendees, including fans of the opposing team, and to stadium personnel.
  • Appropriate Language: Foul, abusive, or obscene language and gestures are not tolerated.
  • Responsible Alcohol Consumption: Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment leading to irresponsible behavior can result in consequences, including ejection.
  • Safety: Fans are expected to follow instructions from Notre Dame staff and stadium personnel.
  • Respect for the Game: Interfering with the progress of the game, such as throwing objects onto the field, is prohibited.
  • Enthusiastic Fan Support: While standing and cheering is encouraged, fans are asked to be mindful of others

Guests not adhering to Notre Dame Stadium’s Courtesy Guidelines will be subject to sanctions, including, refusal of admittance, removal, and/or arrest.

Gates and Doors Open

Notre Dame Stadium Gates A, B, D, and E as well as Corbett Family Hall doors 3 & 4, and Duncan Student Center doors 14 & 17 open 60 minutes prior to kickoff for all fans.

Guest Services Team

The University’s Guest Services Team members are committed to making the Game Day experience at Notre Dame the best in the country. Every home game weekend, these representatives come from across the United States to assist guests in the most hospitable way. They will assist with directions, distribute Game Day information, and answer any questions that one may have on a football weekend at Notre Dame.

Guest Services booths are located on the lower concourse at Gates A, B, C, D, and E.

Metal Detectors

After having bags checked, guests will pass through the metal detectors and then have tickets scanned for entry to the venue. Entrants will not be required to remove belts, cell phones, coins, jackets, jewelry, watches, wallets, shoes or other small objects.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early at the venue to ensure a sufficient amount of time for screening.

Permitted Items

The following items are permitted within Notre Dame Stadium:

  • Binoculars
  • Blankets
  • Cameras with lenses shorter than six (6) inches (without cases, must adhere to Clear Bag Policy)
  • CDC approved masks
  • Cell phones
  • Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” with logo on one side only to not exceed 4.5” x 3.4”
  • Clutch bag, with or without handle/strap, or wallet not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5”
  • Empty (non-glass) water vessel (i.e. personal water bottle, Yeti cup, etc.)
  • *Hand-held radios
  • Hand sanitizer (not to exceed 4 oz.)
  • Heated apparel (jackets, gloves, etc.)
  • Medical bags or equipment (subject to additional screening)
  • One-gallon clear plastic bags (such as Ziploc or Hefty)
  • Pumps for nursing mothers (subject to additional screening)
  • Seat cushions not to exceed 16” x 16”
  • *Small umbrellas

*Cameras, cell phones, hand-held radios, and small umbrellas are allowed as long as they do not compromise the view or experience of others. Permitted items above, including diapers, wipes, and other supplies for babies and small children, should be placed in an approved clear bag.

Prohibited Items

Weapons of any kind are prohibited on campus.

The following items are prohibited within Notre Dame Stadium:

  • Aerosol cans or bottles
  • Animals (Service Dogs are permitted)
  • Artificial noisemakers (including whistles)
  • Bags and containers that do not meet the Clear Bag Policy
  • Bottles of water
  • Drones or Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Glass bottles
  • Golf umbrellas
  • Halloween-style masks
  • Laser or pen pointers
  • Obstructive cameras or selfie sticks
  • Outside alcohol or alcohol containers
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Projectors/projection devices
  • Signs, banners, and balloons
  • Stadium chairs or seat backs (unless medical reason with documentation, or as a part of the stadium rental program)
  • Strollers
  • The throwing of any object at any time (including footballs)
  • Use of tobacco products and e-cigarettes
  • Use or possession of marijuana, and other illegal drugs
  • Any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate

Future ticket privileges may be revoked for violations of the prohibited item policy.

Wifi is available at Notre Dame Stadium on the ND-Guest network.

Parking

General Information

Parking will be complimentary. Mobile passes/hang tags are not required to access event lots. Zipper parking will be implemented beginning at 8:00 am when lots open. Parking will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. As lots fill up, guests will be directed to the next available option.

Recommended Directions

Guests should use Angela Boulevard to access the Bookstore, Stadium, Joyce, Walsh or Innovation Park Lots. 

Douglas Road and Ironwood Road or Douglas Road and US-933 should be used to access the Gold Lot or North Lots.

Shuttle Service

Shuttles will be provided from Gold Lot as well as the Bulla Lot (located in the North Lots area). Shuttles will run from 8:00AM – 6:00PM.

Tailgating

General Information

  • Guests are not permitted to hold or reserve parking spaces for others at any time.
  • Vehicles and/or associated tailgates should not take up more than one space. Guests who violate this policy will be subject to removal.
  • Gate 9 of the Joyce Center will open its restrooms at 10am. Doors will close at the start of the game.
  • All tailgating lots close three (3) hours after the end of the game.
  • RVs and buses are not permitted for the Blue-Gold game.

Dos & Don'ts

  • Overnight parking is prohibited in all lots. All vehicles will be towed from game day parking lots beginning at 6 am ET
  • Tents & canopies that are 10’×10′ or smaller are permitted. Tents larger than 10’x10′ are prohibited. Tent stakes are prohibited
  • Tents, tables, chairs, and other items cannot protrude into the driving lanes past the hash marks
  • Charcoal grills, fire pits, open flames, and propane heaters are prohibited
  • Propane grills are permitted, but their propane tanks must be less than 20 lbs. Propane grill tanks larger than 20 lbs are prohibited
  • Deep-frying (i.e. turkeys) is prohibited in tailgating lots
  • Amplified Sound – speakers that stand alone, are excessively loud, or are connected to an amplifier are prohibited
  • Live bands or DJs are prohibited
  • Unapproved sponsored activations and solicitations are prohibited in campus lots
  • Golf carts, and other custom motorized vehicles are prohibited on the Notre Dame campus unless authorized by Notre Dame Police Department
  • Drones are not permitted to fly on campus without University and FAA approval
  • Kegs and excessive amounts of alcohol are prohibited
  • Large parties are prohibited on campus, including the parking lots
  • Drinking games are prohibited anywhere on campus
  • The throwing of objects in crowded areas, standing/sitting on top of vehicles, fighting, or other behavior deemed unsafe is prohibited
  • Participants/guests/fans must comply with instructions of parking and public safety personnel
  • Tailgating is prohibited during the game in any campus lot or green space unless approved by the University
  • Weapons are prohibited anywhere on campus. Safety and security rules will be strictly enforced and violators may be removed for failing to comply. Future ticket privileges may be revoked for violations on the prohibited items
