Six University of Notre Dame football players heard their names called in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the 2026 NFL Draft.
The six Irish selections brings Notre Dame’s all-time NFL Draft pick total to 544, which is still the most in all of college football.
This is the third straight draft in the Freeman Era where six or more Irish players were drafted.
The Irish continue to be one of the most consistent producers of NFL talent. With the selection of Jeremiyah Love as the third overall pick by the Phoenix Cardinals, Notre Dame extended its streak to 90 NFL Drafts (of 91 total) with an Irish player selected. This remains tied for the most among any college football program.
Love’s selection, along with Jadarian Price’s nod to the Seattle Seahawks as the final pick of the first round, was historical as Notre Dame became the first school to have the first two running backs selected in a single modern-era NFL Draft.
The Love and Price duo selection marked just the third time a school has been represented as the first two picks at any position. In 1991, Tennessee had the first two offensive tackles, and in 1946, Notre Dame had the first two quarterbacks.

Price is the 12th Notre Dame player all-time to be drafted to Seattle. This marks the second straight year the Seahawks have drafted a Notre Dame player after selecting Rylie Mills in 2025. He joins Mills and former Irish Safety Julian Love on the Seahawks roster.

Love and Price are now the fourth running back tandem from the same school to be selected in the first round, and the first since Darren McFadden and Felix Jones represented Arkansas in the 2008 NFL Draft.
This marks the first time Notre Dame has had two running backs selected in the first round of the same NFL draft.
Love and Price become the first Notre Dame running back duo selected in the same draft since Jerome Bettis and Reggie Brooks in 1993.
Price was one of the most versatile players in college football, a force at running back and a difference-maker as a kickoff returner.
In 2025, he rushed 113 times for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns, with six receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 12 kickoff returns for two touchdowns and a 37.5 kickoff return average. Both of his kickoff return touchdowns have gone for 100 yards.
Price was a finalist for the Hornung Award, recognizing the most versatile player in college football, and the Jet Award, recognizing the top returner in the country.
He ended his Irish career with 1,692 rushing yards while sharing the backfield with Jeremiyah Love, and amassed 2,648 total yards in his career. He scored 27 touchdowns.
Price is the first Notre Dame player ever with multiple kick return touchdowns of 100 yards and just the fourth Notre Dame player since at least 1996 to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns in the same season. His most recent was just the fifth kick in program history to be returned 100 yards for a touchdown with two coming from Price this season.
Price finished his Irish career tied for second all-time in kickoff returns for touchdowns in Notre Dame history with three. He joins Tim Brown, Allen Rossum and CJ Sanders for second all-time, trailing only Raghib Ismail’s five. Price is just the third player in program history to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns against a single team during their career (Raghib Ismail – Rice, Michigan; Paul Castner – Kalamazoo), as he also returned a kickoff for a touchdown vs. USC in 2023.

Raridon becomes the sixth Notre Dame tight end selected in the draft over the past eight years. He continues the streak of each primary Irish tight end since 2004 being drafted, beginning with Anthony Fasano.
Raridon finished his career with 623 yards on 48 receptions.
In his senior season as the starting Irish tight end, he totaled 32 catches for 482 yards. The Iowa native finished third on the team in receptions and receiving yards. The six foot seven tight end averaged 15.1 yards per catch. He had a break-out game against NC State inside Notre Dame Stadium where he recorded a career-high seven receptions and 109 yards against NC State. Raridon led the team with 97 receiving yards in the season opener at Miami.
Raridon also played a significant role in run blocking, a Notre Dame tight end trademark. The Irish finished the regular season ranked fifth nationally in scoring offense (41.8), fifth in team passing efficiency (168.61), 10th in passing yards per completion (14.11), 17th in passes had intercepted (6), 18th in total offense (458.5), 18th in third down conversion percentage (0.481), 18th in rushing offense (203.4) and 20th in completion percentage (0.672).

A 2025 team captain, Schrauth was one of the most dominant offensive linemen in the country this season, even while just playing in seven games this season before being sidelined by an injury.
Schrauth and the offensive line helped pave the way for one of the most explosive offenses in the country. In 2025, Notre Dame’s offensive line was a cohesive, productive unit.
The line blocked for Love in his Heisman-finalist and Doak Walker-winning season, as well as fellow running back Jadarian Price, who rushed 113 times for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns, with six receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns. Schrauth and the offensive line protected freshman quarterback CJ Carr effectively, allowing him to rank fifth nationally in passing efficiency (168.1), sixth in yards per pass attempt (9.35) and sixth in passing yards per completion (14.06) at the end of the regular season.
Schrauth’s game of the season came in the 34-24 win over No. 20 USC, imposing his will as he and the Irish line paved the way for 306 Notre Dame rushing yards on the evening, against a defense that entered the game allowing just 108.5 rushing yards per game.
Notre Dame’s season-high 306 rushing yards were the most USC has given up in a game all season to that point. The Irish had 182 of those in the first half, which were 11 more rushing yards than USC had given up in a game all season.
The Irish far and away outpaced the average production allowed by USC’s defense this season. With 442 total yards of offense on the evening, Notre Dame totaled nearly 90 yards over USC’s total defense average entering the evening. Even more notably, Notre Dame’s 306 rushing yards is nearly 200 yards over USC’s average rushing defense entering the game (108.5).
