The sale of alcoholic beverages at Notre Dame hockey and basketball games will expand to include both premium and general admission seating beginning with the 2025 football season. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase alcoholic beverages at concession stands inside Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center and Compton Family Ice Arena. This expansion will provide for a modern fan experience, consistent with other professional and collegiate stadiums and venues throughout the nation. Notre Dame is committed to promoting responsible consumption and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Alcohol Information
- All guests must be 21 years of age to purchase an alcoholic beverage.
- A valid I.D. is required for purchase
- There is a limit of 2 alcoholic beverages per valid I.D per transaction. If an individual is already in possession of one beverage, they will only be permitted to purchase one additional beverage.
- Alcohol service will be discontinued at the end of the 3rd quarter (women’s basketball) or with 10 minutes remaining in the second half (men’s basketball).
- Alcohol service will be discontinued at the 12-minute mark in the 3rd quarter (hockey).
- Outside alcohol and alcohol containers are NOT permitted inside Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center or Compton Family Ice Arena.
- Alcoholic beverages may NOT travel between premium spaces (O’Brien’s and Club Namoli) and the concourse.
- Fans may NOT exit the Arena with alcohol.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated persons.
- Acceptable forms of valid United States identification for alcoholic beverage purchases are: United States Driver’s License, State issued I.D. w/photo, Military I.D. w/photo, Passport, Passport I.D. Card, Mexican Consular Card
