Friday Parking
If you are planning to visit campus on a day other than game day, please review the visitor parking information. Please note: Due to multiple events occurring on campus Friday night, available parking immediately adjacent to Purcell Pavilion, Alumni Stadium, and Notre Dame Stadium will be limited. Should those lots be full, please continue south on Leahy Drive, cross Angela Boulevard, and park in the Innovation Park lot or proceed North on Leahy Drive, turn right on Bulla Road, and proceed to the Bulla Lot.
Mobile Parking Passes

Use Waze to navigate to the appropriate parking area.  The University of Notre Dame works with Waze to program our traffic pattern into navigation.

Have your mobile parking pass up on your phone and show it to officers directing traffic along your route when entering the traffic pattern.  

Have your mobile parking pass pulled up and ready as you approach the scanners in each parking lot.

Shuttle Hours

Shuttles run to and from the lots beginning at 8:00 a.m.

  • At least one shuttle will run throughout the entire game.
  • Post-game shuttles will run at least 2 hours post game until all lines are gone.

Please be aware that there could be a waiting period as the shuttles accommodate the mass exit of all guests at the end of the game.

Gameday Pay-to-Park Lots

Please note ALL lot open times are 8:00 a.m. ET, with the exception of Gold Lot (Gold Lot doesn’t open until 10:00 a.m. for 3:30 p.m. games and 1:00 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. games). All major credit cards are accepted for payment. Parking services staff cashier and assist with parking.

Vehicle size may be no larger than 7.5 feet wide and 20 feet long. Box trucks, vehicles with trailers or tow-ins, and non-registered golf carts or pedal cabs are not permitted. All oversized vehicles will be required to pay and park in the RV or Bus parking lots.

Parking passes for select lots may be pre-purchased from the Murnane Family Ticket Office or ParkMobile. Processing fees may apply.

Reserved Parking

  • Please note ALL lot open times are 8:00 a.m. ET.
  • Guests are not permitted to hold parking spaces for others at any time.
  • After 9 a.m. event parking lots will be filled utilizing Zipper Parking guidelines. Vehicles will be parked in the order in which they arrive. Traffic Control officers and parking attendants will direct vehicles to the appropriate spots. Guests that do not follow the direction of traffic control officers and parking attendants create an unsafe environment and may be asked to leave.
  • To provide an optimal experience for all guests on gameday, parking is limited to one spot per pass. Vehicles and/or associated tailgates should not take up more than one space. Guests who violate this policy will be subject to immediate removal.
  • Advance purchases (when available) can be made through the Murnane Family Ticket Office. Please refer below to the Parking Rules and Regulations for further information and note Reserved Parking is NOT guaranteed less than 90 minutes prior to kick-off.

For Accessible/ADA Parking in the Joyce and Stadium Lots (reserved parking), a state issued ADA placard or ADA license plate is required with a University issued parking pass.

Faculty, Staff, & Student Parking

Parking for faculty, staff, and students with a valid permit is free in Blue & Gold Lots. ADA parking is also available for free for faculty, staff, and students with a valid permit and a state-issued hang tag or license plate in the Bulla Lot on Bulla Road. All other campus lots are subject to special restrictions during home football game weekends and special events. Tailgating

All lots will open at 8:00 am ET on game day and require a University issued parking pass. Please see the 2025 Parking Map for available lots and shuttle routes. Parking passes may be pre-purchased from the Murnane Family Ticket Office and ParkMobile.

Courtesy Carts

Notre Dame offers free flag-down, one-way courtesy cart service across campus, driven by our Guest Services Team in green jackets.

Hours of operation are:

  • Friday: 10:00 am – 5:00pm
  • Saturday:
    • 3:30 pm ET Kick Off – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
    • 7:30 pm ET Kick Off – 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Please Note: Courtesy Carts cannot be reserved and there is no post-game service.

Times are subject to change in the event of inclement weather.

Rideshare Pick-up/Drop-off

  • Transpo’s Game Day Express route runs every Notre Dame Home Football Game Saturday. The route is free and open to the public.
  • The Game Day Express runs for three hours pre-game with the last departure from Downtown South Bend one hour prior to game time. Then again for two hours following the game.
  • The Game Day Express stops are located at the Aloft Hotel, Century Center / Courtyard by Marriott, DoubleTree (along Washington St) and McKenna Hall on the campus of Notre Dame.

  • The following campus locations have been designated as ridesharing drop off points (pre-game):
  • All rideshare pickup (postgame) should take place at the Trader Joe’s parking lot south of campus. Please set your pick-up destinations to 1140 Howard St, South Bend, IN 46617
