SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame softball team hits the road for an Atlantic Coast Conference series with the Florida State Seminoles this weekend, with two of three games being broadcasted on the ACC Network. The series begins Friday evening at 6 p.m., continues Saturday at 6 p.m. on ACC Network with the finale on the ACC Network Sunday at 4 p.m.
The Fighting Irish are coming off of a dramatic 3-2 win over the Western Michigan Broncos Tuesday evening. Over the last two weekends, Notre Dame has battled with North Carolina and Virginia, taking a game in both series, and battling to the final inning in other games.
Florida State enters at 28-10, and winners of their last two. Last weekend, the Seminoles dropped the opener with the Louisville Cardinals before rebounding to win the next two to take the series.
