All camps are listed and operated in Eastern Daylight Time. 

We hire both coaches and counselors for our Summer Camps. All of our coaches are club, high school or college coaches. They are responsible for developing and running training sessions and coaching the teams. Notre Dame’s coaching staffs will be present at their respective camps as well. Counselors are current college players from Notre Dame and coaches from other schools in the area. They are responsible for taking care of the campers in the dorms, walking them to and from the practice facilities and assisting the coach with demonstrations and any other needs they have during the camp session. All coaches and counselors are required to pass a background check and sign a counselor code of conduct prior to working camp.

Yes. There are athletic trainers available at each venue before and after each session. They will have ice bags available on-site. Our athletic training staff is not allowed to give out any pain medication (Advil, Ibuprofen, Tylenol).

Campers taking prescription medicine must be responsible for their own medication. If your child cannot self-medicate, a parent or legal guardian must be available to administer medication during camp. If you decide that your child can self-medicate, please make arrangements to remind your child to take his/her medication. Camp counselors and athletic trainers are not allowed to hold or dispense prescription medication and will not be responsible for reminding your child to take their medication. Additionally, the health center will not hold or dispense medication. Should an emergency situation arise, there will be trained medical personnel on-site that will be able to provide aide.

If the camper is injured between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., they will be admitted to the Campus Health Center if needed. Should the injury occur outside of this window they will be assessed and assisted as needed by on-site medical staffers and an on-call EMT (if needed). We also have transport ability to our local off-campus emergency medical facilities if it is deemed necessary.

Camp registration shuts down 8 days prior to the start of camp. However, we do limit the number of participants so a camp may sell out before then. If that is the case there will be a waitlist you can register for that is free of charge.

The processing fee is a non-refundable charge by our website provider for the services rendered for storing and organizing all of our camp information.  The service charge is applicable to all individual athletic camp registrations processed by the University of Notre Dame. This fee is charged regardless of payment method used by the customer.

No. Once you have completed the online registration and signed the electronic waiver, your camper has completed all necessary steps to attend our camps. Also, it is not necessary to have your camper complete a physical prior to attending camp.

If we have received a cancellation notice eight (8) or more days prior to the beginning of the camp, there will be a non-refundable fee held by the University of Notre Dame, but the remainder of the base tuition payment will be issued back. The non-refundable fee varies per sport. If the cancellation is received seven (7) or less days before the start of camp, there will be NO refund issued. Should a camper suffer any sort of injury within the seven-day window, we will make an exception to this rule provided we receive a signed doctors note verifying the injury. Refunds take 3-5 business days to process.

No. We operate strictly on a refund-only form of credit should a cancellation need to be made.

If a sport offers multiple sessions of a camp, e.g. girls soccer, a camper can be moved along with the payment, so long as there is not a wait list for the session the camper wishes to switch in to. If a wait list is in effect, the camper will have to be placed at the end of that list.
