Notre Dame Men’s Tennis team traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Friday for the Vredevelt Invitational.
In singles matches, the Irish claimed 7 out of 8 matches played. Connor Fu defeated Johan Hedstrom from UIC 6-2, 6-1. Matthew Haplin crushed ISU’s Brandon Lew 6-0, 6-0. Other players who secured a win during singles matches included Braedon Ho, Matthew Che, Paul Gota, Johnathan Small, and Conor Somers.
In doubles play, Haplin and Ho earned a 6-0 win as a duo. Gota and Small, and Mariados and Somers also claimed victories.
The ITA All-American Championships begin Saturday, October 5, and run through Thursday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
