SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame women’s lacrosse season opens Friday, February 9 inside Loftus Sports Center and the Irish have been picked to finish fourth in the ACC Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by the conference Tuesday. In addition to the team ranking, three Irish individuals were voted to the All-ACC Preseason Team with Kasey Choma, Jackie Wolak and Madison Ahern picking up honors.
Wolak, who finished the 2023 campaign with a team best 105 points was tabbed one of three attackers on the All-ACC team while Choma’s play in the midfield earned her one of three midfielder honors. Ahern was named one of eight “at-large” honorees, as voted on by conference head coaches.
The team opens their season against Eastern Michigan University Friday at 7:30 pm and have partnered with the HEADStrong Foundation as part of their Hair Havoc Game.
