Lueking, Sierra Win Three Events Each At Ohio State Winter Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Notre Dame got its postseason off to a great start last weekend, winning 15 events at the Ohio State Winter Invitational. Ten different swimmers notched victories, and Gretchen Lueking and Sammy Sierra won three events a piece. Additionally, five men notched six NCAA B cuts.

Abby O’Sullivan — 500 freestyle (4:54.31) & 400 IM (4:19.73)
Julieta Tracy — 200 backstroke (2:00.45)

Luka Cvetko — 50 freestyle (19.69)^
Arie Ioselevich — 100 breaststroke (55.66)*
Ryan Malicki — 200 freestyle (1:35.78)^*
Sierra — 200 butterfly (1:46.69)^, 200 IM (1:46.12)^* & 400 IM (3:50.52)*

Additionally, Luke Uttley grabbed an NCAA B cut in the 100 butterfly (46.87), while Andrew Guziec’s 15:24.98 time in the mile was also under the B cut threshold.

Up next, Notre Dame will start competition at the 2024 ACC Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
