AS A FRESHMAN: A coxswain for Notre Dame[apos]s novice group … started the spring season as the coxswain for the novice eight ‘A’ boat that finished first in three races versus Northeastern … coxed the second novice eight boat that defeated Michigan State twice … led the second novice eight boat to a victory at the Indiana Invite in a time of 7:19.5 … coxswain for the novice four boat that won the gold medal at the BIG EAST Championships with a time of 8:11.50 … coxswain of the novice eight crew that finished eighth in the novice eight division at Head of the Rock with a time of 20:01.95…also coxswain of the 15th-place crew in the Cal-Sag Regatta novice eight competition.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Played for her high school tennis team all four years while attending Benson High School and earned a varsity letter in each season … a member of the National Honor Society … also participated in the Health Occupations Student of America … was a member of the Asian Club … born in Vietnam on August 1, 1989 … daughter of Hung Le and Lan Dinh … enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
