SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame women’s lacrosse program closed out a record setting season with 18 honorees on the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference Wednesday. The team was highlighted by 11 seniors and grad students, including nine of whom are multi-time honorees. The group also consists of seven returning student-athletes for the 2025 campaign.
Madison Ahern receives the honor for a team-best fourth time in her collegiate career while Kasey Choma, Kelly Denes, Keelin Schlageter, Grace Weigand and Jackie Wolak are all three time honorees. Other multi-time award winners include Lilly Callahan, MK Doherty, Abby Lyons, Aine Maseker and Ali McHugh who all were named to the All-Academic Team for the second time in their careers. Featured on the team for the first time in 2024 are Angie Conley, Olivia Dooley, Maeve Dwyer, Fran Frieri, Franny O’Brien, Meghan O’Hare and Arden Tierney.
The Irish finished the season with a 16-4 record and a home seed in the NCAA Tournament to cap off the historic season. The 18 honorees marks a program best for the Irish, topping that of the 2023 season in which 15 individuals were recognized.
