Sophomore libero Megan Dunne has seen action in 28 games for the Irish this season, averaging 2.64 digs per game and placing her second in digs per game on the 2008 squad. The Palos Heights, Ill., native has also tallied 19 assists, three aces and a kill.

1. If you could trade places with Coach Brown for a day, what would you do?

Wake up, make the Brown boys their lunches and send them off to school, stop at Starbucks on the way to work, get to the office, watch a movie and check Facebook for a while, do some interviews for und.com, go to practice and make the team do lots of sprints, then take them mini golfing.

2. When you were little, who was your favorite cartoon character?

I was a fan of all of the Muppet Babies.

3. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My whole family! Because we have the best food at family parties!

4. What do you miss the most about being at home?

Gus, my beagle. He’s the greatest!

5. If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you want to have with you?

Bathing suit, sun tan lotion, and a rescue boat on the way!

6. What is your most embarrassing moment on the court?

A jump serve attempt gone wrong.

Tall.

9. What is your favorite memory with your Irish teammates?

Dinners at NDH

11. Where do you want to be in 10 years?

Out of college.

12. Do you have any pre-game rituals/superstitions?

I’m not superstitious, but if I were to drive through a yellow light on the way to the game, I would hit the ceiling of the car – just this thing I do.

13. If a movie was made about your life, what would the title be and who would play you?

The Notebook … starring someone like Rachel McAdams.

14. Do you have any nicknames?

DUNZO

15. What artist takes up most of your iPod/music player?

O.A.R – big fan.

16. Where is your favorite place at Notre Dame?

Probably downstairs in the library or stonehenge.

17. What’s the most notable thing about your hometown?

Palos Heights – home of Palos Courts, the Celtic Force Volleyball Club and 15-year old national champions in 2004.

18. Other than the Irish, what is your favorite sports team?

Chicago White Sox

19. What would be your dream job?

Assistant Sports Information Director

20. What does being part of the Fighting Irish mean to you?

It means getting to play for a great school with huge tradition and having something to be proud of. Go Irish!
