The offense (Blue) won the 2025 Blue-Gold Game over the defense (Gold) by a score of 76-31. See the full game recap for more details on how the scrimmage was decided.
Here are some of the best images from the game, held on a beautiful early spring day in Notre Dame Stadium.

The gold earned two defensive stops on the first two series of the games with plays from Bryce Young (#30) and Preston Zinter (#25). Both Young and Zinter had sacks and here they celebrate one of those two plays.

The Blue Team would put up the first scoring points of the game when Jack Larsen’s 24-yard catch put the team in position for a Noah Burnette field goal. The score was Blue 18, Gold 12 after the successful field goal attempt.

Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa then decided to end two Blue drives on his own. The first time putting the team behind the sticks with a tackle-for-loss, then sacking Kenny Minchey (above) to end another Blue drive.

The Blue team would follow with their first touchdown drive of the game. CJ Carr found Kedron Young (pictured) out of the backfield for a 28-yard reception.

Elijah Burress then finished off the drive with a two-yard touchdown reception, beating the defender to the pylon.

Jerome Bettis Jr. (#83) started off the next drive with a 16-yard reception and the Blue team drove down to the goal line, facing fourth and one just inches from the end zone.
That set up this goal line stand by the defense, with Luke Talich (#28) meeting Aneyas Williams at the goal line and stopping him for a turnover on downs. Talich led all defenders in the game with nine tackles.

After a Kenny Minchey touchdown run, Ben Minich earned the lone turnover of the game, here celebrating his interception of CJ Carr on the ninth series of the scrimmage.
The Blue ended the game with three consecutive scoring series. A 18-yard touchdown catch by Scrap Richardson (#81) from Steve Angeli, another Burnette field goal on a drive during which Gi’Bran Payne (#3) accounted for 36 yards and a 27-yard touchdown catch by Xavier Southall (#80) from CJ Carr.

CJ Carr attempted 19 passes, completing 14 for 170 yards and two touchdowns.

Steve Angeli finished eight for 11 passing for 108 yards and a touchdown.

Early-enrollee freshman Nolan James Jr. led the team with 60 receiving yards on three catches (his longest a 37-yard grab) and also rushed four times for 16 yards.

Tae Johnson (#16) and Karson Hobbs (#21) were two of Notre Dame’s young defenders who made plays all over the field on Saturday. Johnson had three tackles and a pass break up, while Hobbs broke up two passes and made four tackles (including one for a loss).

Eli Raridon (#9) had two receptions for 21 yards in the game. The tight end group ended up posting six catches for over 100 yards on the day.
