A total of nearly 125 former Notre Dame student-athletes will return to campus this weekend for the 35th Anniversary of Women’s Athletics. The celebration will run the entire weekend and is filled with many different activities for the entire family.

WEEKEND ITINERARY
*While on campus, be sure to pass through the hallway near gate 2 of the Joyce Center to view the 35th anniversary photo display on the wall.*
Friday, April 27th:
Noon to 6:00 PM – Registration
Please stop by the lobby of the Waterford Estates Lodge Friday, anytime between noon and 6:00 PM. If you are unable to make it at this time, we will be continuing registration Friday evening at the AD Dine-In and in the hotel lobby on Saturday morning.
7:00 PM – AD Dine-In
Please join us for dinner, sponsored by Nelson’s BBQ, at the home of Kevin and Jane White. Dinner begins at 7:00 PM. Shuttles are available, and will depart Waterford Estates Lodge beginning at 6:30 PM. Directions are also included should you choose your own means of transportation. Dress is casual.
Saturday, April 28th:
9:00 AM – Golf Outing
On Saturday morning you have one of two options, the first of which is a 9-hole golf scramble at Warren Golf Course. Breakfast will be served in the club house from 8:00-9:00 AM with golf to follow. You must have pre-registered for golf.
9:00 AM – Run with the Legends
If you are not much of a golfer, please join us in a 5K Run/2 mile walk. The race will begin at Legends on the Notre Dame campus (south of Notre Dame Stadium), and the course is mapped out through campus. Registration begins at 8:00 AM with the race starting at 9:00 AM. Walk-up registration is encouraged ($10 per person.) Fruit and bagels will be served at the finish.
10:00 AM – Softball Groundbreaking
Come join the Notre Dame Athletics Department and the Demo Family as we break ground for the Melissa Cook Memorial Stadium, future home of Notre Dame Softball. The new stadium is to be located south of Frank Eck Baseball Stadium (on the corner of Edison Rd. and Twyckenham Dr.)
Alumni Games
Do you want to see if you’ve still got it after all these years? If you competed in volleyball or field hockey you’ll have a chance to show case your skills. The volleyball alumni will be scrimmaging at 10 am in the Joyce Center `Pit’ (located between the arena and the field house.) The field hockey alumni will be competing at 3 pm on the Stepan Fields which are located on the north side of campus.
Noon-2:00 PM – Luncheon
Please stop by for lunch sponsored by Famous Dave’s on the 5th floor of the Notre Dame Stadium Press Box anytime from noon until 2:00 PM. Lighthouse Imaging will be taking “all-time” team photos (photo schedule included.) Be sure to visit www.lighthouseimaging.com to view the photos and for order information in the days/weeks following the events. You can also contact Lighthouse Imaging at (574) 255-4030 directly to order photos for the weekend. Dress for this event is casual.
2:00 PM – Campus Tours
Hour long campus walking tours will depart from the Press Box at 2:00 PM. This tour will include portions of the Guglielmino Athletics Complex and the Loftus Sports Center.
5:00-8:00 PM – Sport Specific Events
At 5:00 PM, spend some time catching up with your former teammates. Teams will be split up and gather at various venues around town (directions included.) Hors d’oeurves and beverages will be served. Dress is casual.

Soccer Banquet
The women’s soccer team will be holding their annual team banquet in place of the sport specific gathering. It will be held in McKenna Hall. Please contact Dawn Greathouse in the women’s soccer office at (574) 631-5870 to register.
5:00-8:00 PM – Childcare Services
Two childcare services will be provided. First, several of our current student-athletes will be hosting a variety of activities ranging from dodge ball to basketball, for children age 6 through 8th grade. This will occur from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM in Rolf’s Rec Center, with check in beginning at 4:30 PM. For younger children, ages 1-5, there will be a babysitting service in the Joyce Center Monogram Room. Food will be provided at both events (pizza.) If you have not pre-registered, but you are planning on utilizing either of these two services please let us know in advance, so we have a better idea of what our numbers will be.
9:00 PM – Young/ “Young at Heart” Alumni Event
To cap off your evening, please come join us at Brigid’s Pub at Waterford Estates Lodge located at 52890 State Road 933. Dance the night away with live music by the Sharon Scott Band starting at 9:00 PM. This event is pay-on-your-own.
Sunday, April 29th:
10:00 AM – Mass
Please join us on the Joyce Center Concourse, outside of the Monogram Room, for a 10:00 AM Mass concelebrated by current and former University Presidents: Fr. Jenkins, Fr. Malloy, and Fr. Hesburgh.
11:00 AM – Brunch
Following Mass, a brunch and speaking program will be held in the Joyce Center Arena. Business attire is requested.
