The spring celebration for the 75th Anniversary of Black Student-Athletes at Notre Dame was held over Blue-Gold Game weekend. A variety of events took place, including a reception Friday evening at Notre Dame Stadium, and a panel discussion Saturday morning inside the Monogram Room. JP Abercrumbie, Executive Associate Athletics Director, Culture & Engagement, moderated the panel, which featured Phyllis Washington Stone (’80, cheer), Jordan Cornette (’05, basketball), Indi Jackson (’17, track & field) and Daelin Hayes (’20, football). There also was a special on-field recognition during the Blue-Gold Game. The Fighting Irish are grateful to everyone who participated in the spring celebration, especially the panelists for sharing their stories and experiences.
