NOTRE DAME, Ind. – A limited number of tickets for the University of Notre Dame’s 2009 season-opening football game versus Nevada Sept. 5 at Notre Dame Stadium will go on sale to the public at 8:30 a.m. EDT Wednesday (June 24) through the Notre Dame ticket office.

The sale is a result of Nevada returning a portion of its allotment. Tickets are contiguous; limits and availability are to be determined.

Alumni and friends that applied for tickets to the Nevada game through the annual ticket lottery will have their requests accommodated. The lottery is still in process and results will be available July 8.

Tickets for the Nevada game are $68 each and may be purchased in person at the Gate 1 ticket window located on the second floor of the Joyce Center, by calling 574-631-7356 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST or by visiting www.und.com/tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Services charges will apply.
