BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. — Following inclement weather and unplayable conditions on Friday, the University of Notre Dame women’s golf team played two rounds of golf on Saturday at the Bryan National Collegiate.
The Irish carded a 607 through the first 36 holes, concluding Saturday’s action in 13th place as a team.
Notre Dame shot a 309 in the opening round of play, led by a 71 from Emma Albrecht and a 72 from Maddie Rose Hamilton.
Albrecht and Mia Ayer paced the Irish in the second round, scoring 72 and 73, respectively. Notre Dame scored a 298 on the second set of 18 to total 607 on the day.
Leading The Irish Lineup
Albrecht’s score of 143 through the first two rounds leaves her tied for ninth individually, heading into the final day of the match.
Hamilton shot a 148, finishing four-over par in the second round to move into 29th place on the leaderboard.

Irish At The Bryan National Collegiate
Notre Dame has competed in the Bryan National Collegiate in each of the last two seasons.
In 2016, Talia Campbell led the Irish, shooting a 224 and finishing tied for eighth individually. As a team, the Irish concluded the tournament tied for fifth.

Following the Bryan National Collegiate, Notre Dame will head to the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships on April 13-15 at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
