All 2016 Irish Home Football Games Sold Out

Sept. 2, 2016

All tickets for the six 2016 University of Notre Dame home football games at Notre Dame Stadium have been sold.

That includes home dates this fall against Nevada (Sept. 10), Michigan State (Sept. 17), Duke (Sept. 23), Stanford (Oct. 15), Miami (Oct. 29) and Virginia Tech (Nov. 19). Tickets are available for the Shamrock Series game Nov. 12 in San Antonio against Army and can be purchased at UND.com/BuyTickets.

Fans can monitor the Notre Dame Tickets twitter account (@NDtix) for tickets that might be released before select games.

The sellout status ensures that the 2016 Irish home opener against Nevada will mark the 250th consecutive sellout at Notre Dame Stadium-and also guarantees that the streak will move to 255 by the end of the 2016 season.

In conjunction with the Campus Crossroads Project, some fans with current seats in the Notre Dame Stadium bowl will be relocating to new premium seating areas in 2017. This movement will create opportunities for new fans to purchase season tickets in the stadium bowl. To reserve season tickets for 2017, visit UND.com/FootballTickets. A non-refundable $250 deposit per seat is required. Fans interested in premium seating opportunities should call 574-631- 3500.

As previously announced, one of the improvements to Notre Dame Stadium in 2017 is the replacement of the current wood bleachers with those made from a new composite material. To meet construction timelines in 2017, the upper bowl wood bleachers were removed and replaced for the 2016 season. The lower bowl seats will be replaced at the conclusion of the 2016 season. In addition, for the 2017 season the seats in the lower bowl will be widened by two inches to match the 18-inch width of those in the upper bowl.

Fans will have an opportunity to purchase the removed wood bleachers-with details coming during the 2016 season.
