2007 Notre Dame ornament

Christmas Ornament and Advent Calendar The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes is replicated in miniature for the 2007 Notre Dame ornament. This year’s advent calendar again features campus scenes commemorating Our Lady’s University while preparing for Christmas. The ornament and the advent calendar are available at the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore and its catalog center (800-647-4641).

The Alumni Band Is Back! Enjoy the performances by 828 alumni of the Notre Dame Marching Band who are taking part in their reunion this weekend. They are divided into two large bands, which will step off from the Dome at 12:45 and 12:55 p.m. They will also perform with the Notre Dame Band (the student band) pre-game and at halftime. Alumni Band members reunite every four years.

A Chance to Support the Band
Consider sponsoring an instrument, if you would like to help out the Notre Dame Marching Band in an immediate and tangible way. Your donation can fund the purchase of a new instrument for the band, and the instrument’s case will have a permanent brass plate attached with your name as the donor.
