GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Page Freeman and sophomore Julia Andreach earned a spot on the All-ACC Academic team for their performances in the classroom and on the court this season. Andreach and Freeman have each earned ACC Academic Honor Roll honors in their careers, and this will be Freeman’s second All-ACC Academic award.
Andreach finished the 2022 season going 12-8 in singles play and was 10-11 in doubles action. She was named the ACC Player of the Week on April 12th after earning wins over the 28th-ranked player in the nation from Miami, and a three-set win over Florida State. She partnered with Yashna Yellayi to help clinch the doubles point in the upset-victory over No. 8 Miami. Andreach is an economics major.
Freeman finished the regular season going 13-10 in singles action and was 13-8 in doubles. She and partner Maria Olivia Castedo earned a spot in the NCAA Doubles Championship in Champaign, Illinois this spring. Freeman was also an ACC Player of the Week after going 3-1 with a pair of Top-20 wins over individuals from North Carolina and Duke. She and Castedo also added doubles wins over teams from North Carolina and Duke. Freeman is a neuroscience major.
