SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame baseball team will be conducting open tryouts ahead of the 2023-24 season. The tryouts will be held at Frank Eck Stadium on Monday, September 11th at 5 pm (weather permitting). To sign up, contact Seth Voltz at seth.voltz@nd.edu with name, year in school, and preferred position(s).
The tryouts are for Notre Dame students only. Interested students need to fill out the forms listed below prior to the tryout. They also must show proof of a physical within the last sixth months, and results of sickle cell testing completed in their lifetime. All students must also make sure prior to your tryout that you have established an account with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
- Evidence of a completed physical (performed by a physician) within the last 6 months that clears them for athletic activity
- Results of completed sickle cell testing (contact your physician/pediatrician, as this may have been completed for some individuals at birth)
- Proof of Medical Insurance coverage (picture of the front/back of the insurance card or the insurance card itself)
- The Tryout Form at the top of the article.
