NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Notre Dame women’s golfers Lauren Beaudreau and Abby Heck have been selected as All-ACC Academic Team honorees, the conference announced Thursday (June 17).
Heck, a senior, earned the honor for the third time in her career, while Beaudreau, a sophomore, earned it for the first time in her career (the All-ACC Academic Team was not selected in 2019-20).
Heck recently graduated with the program’s third-best career stroke average (74.61) after spending four seasons as a starter in head coach Susan Holt’s lineup. A mathematics major, Heck had the added distinction of earning Dean’s List honors in each of her eight semesters at Notre Dame.
Beaudreau, a marketing major, played all 18 rounds in the shortened 2020-21 season and posted the team’s best stroke average (74.22). She won the 2021 Indiana Spring Challenge at the Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Indiana (April 4-5) with a 10-under par 206. That win was highlighted by an opening round 66.
