SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Annie Behm certainly made the most of her senior year at Notre Dame.
The May graduate was named the winner of the Under Armour 25 x 25 Collegiate Challenge, a community engagement challenge that encourages student-athletes to volunteer. She won the award for each of the three seasons last academic year — fall, winter and spring.
In conjunction with Helper Helper, a volunteer tracking app and management platform, the efforts are part of a larger Under Armour goal to post 1 million volunteer hours by the conclusion of 2025, an impact equal to a $25 million investment toward communities and organizations across the globe.
Over the course of the 2024-25 academic year, Behm completed 82 hours of community service largely focused on early childhood education and patient care. She was also a classroom volunteer. Behm earned her degree this spring in biological sciences and plans to apply to medical school while working in the patient care sector during a gap year.
In addition to Notre Dame, the schools participating in the challenge include American, Davidson, Morgan State, Northwestern and South Carolina. Fellow 2025 Notre Dame graduate Madeline Menkhaus earned the honor in the spring of 2023.
