SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Notre Dame men’s soccer midfielder and 2024 captain Bryce Boneau has signed his first career pro contract with Huntsville City FC following his impressive collegiate career with the Irish.
“We are all thrilled for Bryce,” said McFarland Family Head Men’s Soccer Coach Chad Riley. “He had an exceptional career at Notre Dame and truly embodied the highest ideals of being a student-athlete here. As he embarks on his professional soccer journey, we look forward to following his success.”
Boneau was a two-time All-ACC Third Team selection and the 75th overall draft pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft by Nashville SC.
The midfielder racked up 18 assists in his three years on the pitch at Notre Dame, including a career-high eight in his senior season. Boneau also scored five goals for the Fighting Irish in his career.
The Keller, Texas, native played a major role in Notre Dame’s dominant 2023 season in which the side went undefeated in ACC play to earn the league’s regular season title. The Irish then made a run to the College Cup final for just the second time in program history.
Boneau will join former teammate Ethan O’Brien on the roster at Huntsville City FC.
