Cabrera Remains In Contention At All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. — Through the first day of pre-qualifying singles play at the St. Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American Championships, sophomore Guillermo Cabrera is still in contention after securing a win in the Round of 128 on Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

After a bye in the first round, Cabrera defeated Georgia Tech’s Phillip Gresk 6-2, 7-6(3) to advance to Sunday’s Round of 64. He will face Florida State’s Rana-Roop Singh Bhullar at noon ET.

Junior Grayson Broadus and sophomore Matt Gamble will continue play today in the pre-qualifying singles consolation after taking losses in their opening matches on Saturday.
