SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Notre Dame Women’s Soccer’s Carolyn Calzada signed with the Portland Thorns, announced by the organization on Thursday afternoon.
The defender appeared in and started 18 matches with the Irish, logging 1547 minutes on the pitch. Calzada recorded two assists and helped guide the Irish to seven shutouts this season.
Calzada joined the Irish after spending the last three seasons at Texas A&M, starting in all 54 games she appeared in. She was a two-time All-SEC performer and a co-captain for the Aggies last season.
