They beat undefeated Stanford in the final of the Women’s College Cup 1-0 to win the program’s 3rd National Championship. They totally disrupted Stanford’s possession style of play, and Stanford’s back line had no idea what to do with Notre Dame forward Melissa Henderson, who got the assist on the game-winning goal by freshman Adriana Leon in the 63rd minute.
