NOTRE DAME, In. – As announced by USA Lacrosse Magazine on Monday (Dec. 20) Kasey Choma was named to the 2022 Preseason All-American squad.
Choma makes the list among thirty-nine other Division I women’s lacrosse athletes.
In the 2021 season, Choma racked up 45 goals, and 50 points. She netted a goal in 17 of 18 contests, including a career-best six goals vs. Virginia Tech (April 21), and Totaled eight hat tricks, and scored at least five goals in three games. She also accumulated 18 ground balls, and 17 draw controls. Choma picked up nine awards throughout the season including being named 2021 IWLCA Second Team All-American, 2021 Inside Lacrosse Second Team All-American, and 2021 Inside Lacrosse Preseason Third Team All-American.
The Irish open their season on February 11, 2022 when they host Central Michigan.
