Brian Snow 2024-25 Men's Basketball Staff
Director of Recruiting
Brian Snow rejoined Micah Shrewsberry’s staff ahead of the 2023-24 season. He resumed his previous role of Director of Recruiting at Penn State, which was a new position added at Notre Dame. A former national recruiting analyst, Brian Snow now enters his fourth straight year working with Coach Shrewsberry and second at ND.
In year one with the Irish, Snow and Coach Shrews signed a top-25 nationally ranked recruiting class. The trio of Cole Certa (6-5 guard from Le Roy, Illinois), Sir Muhammed (6-6 guard from Charlotte, North Carolina) and Garrett Sundra (6-11 forward form Ashburn, Virginia) also ranked as the fifth best class in the ACC by 247Sports.
Snow’s recruiting efforts were one of the main reasons for Penn State signing back-to-back top-30 nationally-ranked recruiting classes – the first time that had happened in program history – not to mention the highest-ranked recruiting class in Penn State men’s basketball history. Furthermore, the 2022 signing day class all flipped to join Coach Shrewsberry at Notre Dame – giving the Irish a top-25 ranked class.
Prior to his time at Penn State, Snow evaluated thousands of high school prospects to produce accurate rankings and content for some of the largest media corporations dedicated to college sports. Snow spent four years as a national recruiting analyst for 247Sports and CBSSports.com. In his role, he evaluated high school prospects on film and in person to assist in the creation of 247Sports’ national prospect rankings.
Prior to joining 247Sports, Snow was a national recruiting writer for Scout for nearly seven years.
Snow graduated from Ohio State University in 2007 with a degree in mass communications.
