Gavin Mack 2024-25 Cheerleading Staff
Assistant Coach
Gavin brings 18 years of coaching experience to the program. He discovered the world of cheerleading in high school when he joined his high school spirit team. Through this experience, Gavin’s interest in cheer grew and he joined ICE All-stars allowing him to compete on a co-ed team and perform partner stunt routines at regional and national level. When his all-star career was nearing an end, Gavin opted to continue cheering while attending college at Morehead State University under Myron Doan’s tutelage. When Gavin returned to South Bend he coached for ICE All-Stars and provided college prep for coed athletes to assist them with their cheer aspirations. During this time, Gavin’s teams won multiple regional competitions, ultimately placing first at COA Nationals. After the untimely closure of the local ICE facility, he began coaching in Niles, Michigan for Champion Force Athletics in 2014, taking multiple competitive teams to the NYAA Nationals. Each year these teams placed in the top 5 and had brought home a national title. Gavin is a proud South Bend native and grew up watching and attending Notre Dame athletic events. He has always been captivated by the rich history and tradition of the University of Notre Dame and hopes to continue that with his loving wife and son.
