CHARLOTTE — Notre Dame senior Grace Courtney is undefeated this season, and the Cincinnati native is being recognized for her accomplishments. On Tuesday, the ACC announced Courtney is this week’s ACC Women’s Diver of the Week. It is her first time earning the honors.
In a 151-149 win over Northwestern on Friday, Courtney won both the 1-meter (304.13) and 3-meter (357.15) springboard events for Notre Dame. Both marks are well over the NCAA Zone cuts for this season. Additionally, her 3-meter score of 357.15 was the third best performance in the country last week for a six-dive event.
Through two meets this year, Courtney has yet to fall short of gold; on Oct. 10, she won both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events against Michigan and Wisconsin.
Up next, the Irish head to Louisville for a Nov. 7 showdown. The meet begins at 6 p.m.
