SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame men’s basketball roster continued to grow with the addition of Devin Brown on Tuesday. A 6-6 guard out of Lewis Center, Ohio, Brown is coming off his freshman season at Davidson.
“Devin is a versatile wing who can impact the game in a lot of different ways, especially with his ability to pass and make others better. He has a great feel for the game and plays with an unselfish approach. Coming from a winning background, including a state championship in high school, he understands what it takes to compete and contribute to a team’s success,” Glenn & Stacey Murphy Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry stated.
Brown played in 34 games as a freshman, which included 27 starts, for a 20-14 Davidson squad. He averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists; in addition to recording a shooting split of 40.8% / 31.0% / 63.2%.
Ultimately, Brown posted six games in double figures, which included a season high of 17 points at George Washington.
The 6-6 guard was named A-10 Rookie of the Week twice, and then at the end of the season, took home A-10 All-Rookie Team honors (1-of-5 selected).
Before Davidson, Brown was the 2024-25 Division I Ohio Player of the Year. He won a state title his senior year at Olentangy Orange High, averaging 13.8 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 4.4 apg, and 3.0 spg, along the way.
