MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Several Notre Dame men’s divers competed at the NCAA Zone Meet hosted by Minnesota this past weekend, posting solid results across the board in the both the 1- and 3-meter events.
Eric Lex led the Irish off the small board with a combined score of 603.05, one spot ahead of 12th-place finisher Caleb Dunnichay (587.35).
Nathan Geary also advanced to the finals and finished 18th with a 564.20.
Michael Bulfin, who battled an illness throughout the meet, was 23rd in the preliminary heat with a 257.45. Wes Villaflor posted a score of 239.50.
Bulfin did find the drive to muster an 11th-place finish in the 3-meter event. The senior had 681.25 points and Lex (632.90) placed 17th in the finals.
