GREENWOOD, Ind. – Following standout performances on the lacrosse field Will Donovan and Thomas Ricciardelli have been named College Sports Communicators Third Team Academic All-Americans.
The two student-athletes were chosen by voting members of the College Sports Communicators from all across the country as at-large selections, meaning they were not only competing with other lacrosse players but fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, rifle, skiing, swimming & diving, tennis, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling as well.
Donovan was the best LSM in the country during his senior season and was selected as a first team All-American by the USILA, Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse. The graduating senior was also honored as the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year for the sport of men’s lacrosse.
