NOTRE DAME, Ind. — University of Notre Dame men’s soccer defender Felicien Dumas and forward Jack Lynn have been named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Third Teams on Monday.
Both Lynn and Dumas were also selected to All-ACC Teams earlier this season, as Lynn was a second-team honoree while Dumas took home third-team honors.
Last season the Irish placed Patrick Berneski to the first team as the Notre Dame representative.
#27 JACK LYNN
The sophomore forward made a huge impact in attack for the Irish, leading the Irish in goals with 10 during the 2019 season. After scoring three goals as a freshman, Lynn has enjoyed a breakout performance in his sophomore season. The forward had a knack for scoring goals in big situations, as five of his 10 were game winners, which ranked second in the ACC and 11th in the country.
#5 FELICIEN DUMAS
Dumas thrived in multiple positions for the Irish during the 2019 season, splitting time between defense and midfield positions. The left-footed captain earned two ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors throughout the season and has wreaked havoc on opposing teams defenses with his set pieces. Dumas scored three goals from free kicks this season and added six assists while also playing a key role in defense.
