The meet will run June 3-7

INDIANAPOLIS — Eight Notre Dame swimmers will take a break from summer vacation this week and head to Indianapolis for the 2025 USA Swimming National Championships at the Indiana University Natatorium. The meet will run from June 3-7 with prelims beginning each day at 10 a.m. Finals will start at 7 p.m.

School record holders Carli Cronk and Lainey Mullins will compete for Notre Dame on the women’s side. Mullins broke the school record in the 200 meter butterfly at March’s Speedo Sectionals with a time of 2:13.09 and will look to lower that record and top her best time of 2:10.99 in the event, set prior to her arrival at Notre Dame.

On the men’s side, six Irish will compete. Rising senior and Olympic Trials finalist Tommy Janton will look to make several finals at the meet, with his best shot in the 200 back. Rising sophomore Patrick Branon went 1:58.93 in the 200 meter fly in March, setting a school record in the process. He is the No. 21 overall seed in the event in Indy this week.
