Fantasy Bowl I Teams Up With Fathead

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – When 70 players representing Penn State and Notre Dame meet in Fantasy Bowl I on Friday, September 7, they will be playing for more than just school pride.

Fantasy Bowl I has teamed up with Fathead to award the players who star in the long-awaited clash a selection of stunning Fathead prizes.

The Fantasy Bowlers are the ultimate in fanatical sports fans. Fathead is the ultimate gift and must have accessory for the most devoted sports fan. They are the perfect match.

Both Fantasy Bowl rosters comprise of participants from the annual Notre Dame Football Fantasy Camp, which has run successfully since 2003, and the 2006 and 2007 Nittany Lion Football Fantasy Camps. They will meet at Bigler East Field at 6.30pm on Friday, September 7 in a unique semi-contact flag football game. Admission is free, with limited parking available at Bigler East parking lot on University Drive.

Each team’s offensive and defensive MVP will be awarded either a Nittany Lions or Fighting Irish team logo Fathead. Also up for grabs are Fathead Play of the Game prizes of a team helmet Fathead to be handed out to the players that make the best offensive and defensive plays in each half.

Former Notre Dame defensive end Frank Stams (’84-’88) and ex-Penn State tight end Brad Scovill (’77-’79) will coach the two teams and will also present the Fathead awards.
