Fencing Adds Five to Signing Class

SOUTH BEND, IND. – The defending National Champion Notre Dame fencing programs added five student-athletes who have signed an Athletic Aid Agreement and will join the program next season, head coach Gia Kvaratskhelia announced.

The 14-time national championship program is set to add the following signees to a talented and historic program:

Eliott Loiseau • Epee • Granger, IN (Penn HS) • Escrime du Lac

Gabriel Carrier • Epee • Ogden, UT (Weber HS) • Wasatch Fencing/Schoolhouse Fencing

  • Ranked 5th in cadets during the 2023-24 season and as high as 9th in juniors on the national level
  • Placed 5th at the junior World Cup in El Salvador in 2024 and 6th in 2025
  • Several top-16 finishes in Division I, top-8 finishes in juniors and cadets and a 3rd place finish at a cadet NAC
