SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes for the first round of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship.
The game is scheduled for noon ET at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium and it will air on ESPN2.
Notre Dame (8-4) claimed a share of the ACC regular-season title with a record of 3-1 and earned the top seed in the conference tournament.
The winner of Notre Dame’s first-round contest will take on the winner of the first-round tilt between No. 5 seed Penn State and Colgate in the quarterfinals. The Irish are in the Annapolis, Maryland quarterfinal, which will be played on either Saturday, May 17 or Sunday, May 18.

- Notre Dame advanced to the NCAA championship weekend in 2001, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015 and played in the title game in 2010 and 2014 to go along with the 2023 and 2024 titles.
The 17-team NCAA Championship field consists of eight automatic-qualifying teams and eight at-large squads. The top eight teams in the bracket are seeded.
