NOTRE DAME, Indiana – University of Notre Dame football hosted its annual Pro Day Thursday afternoon with 17 draft-eligible Irish athletes participating in front of attendees from 31 NFL teams.

There were numerous general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches and scouts in attendance at today’s event. The list was highlighted by Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell, Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn, Detroit Lions director of player personnel Kyle O’Brien, Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Mularkey, Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson, Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson, Cleveland Browns vice president of player personnel Andrew Berry and Miami Dolphins director of player personnel Joe Schoen.

Draft-eligible players that participated in the day’s events included: Chris Brown, Amir Carlisle, Sheldon Day, Matthias Farley, Will Fuller, Everett Golson, Jarrett Grace, Eilar Hardy, Matt Hegarty, Nick Martin, Romeo Okwara, Calvin Prosise, KeiVarae Russell, Elijah Shumate, Jaylon Smith, Ronnie Stanley and Ishaq Williams.

The day began at 11:15 a.m. ET with heights, weights and measurements in the Haggar Fitness Complex within the Guglielmino Athletics Complex. The players then followed with vertical and broad jumps, along with bench press for those who chose to participate in the particular tests. The Irish athletes then moved to Meyo Field at the Loftus Sports Center to test in the 40-yard dash, agility drills and position-specific drills for each respective player.

The 2016 NFL Draft will run from April 28 until April 30 and will take place at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
