- Madison Mote tallied a career high in goals and points against Duke with five goals, two assists, and seven points.
- Maddie Howe notched a new career high against the Yale Bulldogs with seven goals.
- Hannah Dorney leads the Irish with 19 caused turnovers and currently ranks second in the ACC with an average of 1.70 caused turnovers per game.
- Bridget Deehan ranks first in the ACC in saves per game (8.70) and fourth in save percentage (.442).
- Notre Dame is coming off a 2021 campaign in which it finished 11-7 and earned an NCAA Tournament berth.
THE NOTRE DAME – UNC SERIES
- The Irish and Tar Heels will be meeting for the 12th time on Saturday with UNC holding the overall advantage, 10-1.
- Notre Dame and UNC last met in the 2021 post season in the ACC Tournament semifinals when the Irish fell 18-4. Prior to the ACC semifinals, the two met in the regular season where the Irish kept things close in a 10-11 nail biter.
- In the last meeting, Kasey Choma led the Irish with three points, two goals and one assist.
- Bridget Deehan made six saves in net before Lilly Callahan stopped one shot in relief.
ALL-AMERICAN Girls
- Madison Ahern and Kasey Choma were named midseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse/IL Women on March 31, 2022.
- Five Irish were named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans including Kasey Choma (Second Team), Madison Ahern (HM), Maddie Howe (HM), Jackie Wolak (HM), and Bridget Deehan (HM).
- Kasey Choma was named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-American squad, and was also ranked among the top 50 lacrosse players in college checking in at #34.
- Choma and Ahern were both named to the USA Super Sixes roster for the 2022 World Games on March 30.
CHOMA RANKED NATIONALLY
- Kasey Choma was tabbed 34th in the nation by Inside Lacrosse in December of 2021.
- In her career, she has played in 25 games, scoring 67 goals on 131 shots. She has picked up 29 ground balls, and 29 draw controls.
- She currently sits second on the team in goals with 30 over ten games.
AHERN ON ATTACK
- Madison Ahern leads the Irish squad so far in the 2022 season with 32 goals.
- She notched her 100th career point against the Virginia Cavaliers in a 12-10 Irish win.
- Ahern tied her career high with six goals against #3 Syracuse on February 26, 2022.
- She has tied her career high two times this season against Syracuse, and Jacksonville.
