CHARLOTTE โ For the second consecutive week, Notre Dame freshman pitcher/designated player Lily Hagan was tabbed ACC Freshman of the Week following a pair of dominant performances to close out the regular season last week, the conference announced Tuesday. It’s the third time an Irish freshman has earned the accolade (Zachary, Hagan x2).
Hagan hit .571 last week against UIC and DePaul, posting a pair of home runs and five RBI to go along with three runs scored. Those two homers pushed Hagan to nine on the season, which leads the team this season. Her two-run homer against UIC gave the Irish a lead they would never relinquish.
