Hidalgo named to WBCA High School Coaches All-America Team

ATLANTA, Ga. — With just a few months left until she arrives in South Bend, Notre Dame signee Hannah Hidalgo has added another national honor to her trophy case. On Friday, Hidalgo was named to the WBCA High School Coaches All-America Team.

“We congratulate the remaining members of the 2023 WBCA High School Coaches’ All-America team,” WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew said. “These young women have worked to elevate their teams and themselves to an elite level of competition. Through their exceptional talents on the basketball court, they have also lifted the women’s game.”

Hidalgo, who signed with the Irish in November and is the No. 5 recruit in the 2023 class according to the ESPNW HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings, averaged 28.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 7.3 steals per game during her final year at Paul VI.
