SOUTH BEND, Ind. – With one week until the unofficial start to the 2024-25 hockey season, the University of Notre Dame hockey program has announced the start times for all 18 home games.
All Friday night games inside Compton Family Ice Arena are slated for 7:05pm puck drops while Saturday night tilts will begin at 6:05pm. The lone Sunday game (Jan. 5) vs. Penn State will see a 5:05pm puck drop in South Bend.

The Irish open their home season with an exhibition game against the US National Team Development Program next Friday (Oct. 4) at 7:05pm before officially opening the season on the road with a trek to New York for a pair of non-conference matchups at St. Lawrence and Clarkson. The team returns home for the official home-opener Oct. 18-19 when they host the Alaska Nanooks.
The Big Ten season gets underway when the Irish host the Badgers of Wisconsin for a two-game series, Nov. 1-2.
The 2024-25 season marks year 20 behind the Irish bench for Catalino Family Head Hockey Coach Jeff Jackson and features a number of veteran skaters, including Notre Dame graduate seniors Grant Silianoff and Zach Plucinski.
