Notre Dame and Miami meet for the third time this season and the first at the Joyce Center in a 7:35 p.m. contest on Friday night. This game will be televised live by CBS College Sports with Matt Shepard and Dave Starman calling the action. The Irish are 16-9-3 overall and 13-6-1-1 in the CCHA, good for second place, just two behind first-place Michigan. Miami is 14-9-3 overall and 11-7-2-1 in conference play, good for 36 points, five points behind Notre Dame in third place. The two teams met twice in December at Miami. The Irish rallied from a pair of two-goal deficits to win on Dec. 3, 5-4 and the RedHawks took the second game by a 5-2 margin. Miami leads the all-time series, 35-16-8, and is 13-7-6 at the Joyce Center. In the last 10 games, the RedHawks are 7-2-1 versus the Irish. Notre Dame enters the game ranked ninth in the nation in both national polls while Miami is 13th in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine rankings and 11th in the USCHO.com poll.
