SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Notre Dame women’s tennis’ incoming class is ranked the 15th best in the country, according to the Tennis Recruiting Network’s Winter Class Rankings. The Irish incoming class for the Fall of 2025 include Sophia Holod, Jessica Kovalcik and Marilouise Van Zyl.
The Tennis Recruiting Network enlists reporters, national and international tournament directors, referees, ranking chairs and writers from across the country to vote on the top classes.
This Notre Dame class ranks 4th in the ACC. Both Holod, from East Setauket, New York, and Kovalcik, a Plainfield, Illinois native, were both tabbed “Blue Chip” recruits.
The Irish return to the home courts on Friday when they host Ohio State at 4 p.m. inside the Eck Tennis Pavilion. Admission to all Notre Dame tennis matches is free.
