Irish Announce Schedule Changes And Three Televised Games

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame baseball team has announced two changes to its 2011 schedule. The Irish will also make at least three national television appearances this spring.

Notre Dame’s series opener against West Virginia, which originally was scheduled at 5:35 p.m. (ET) on Friday, April 15, will now take place at 7:00 p.m. (ET) and air on ESPNU.

Notre Dame will travel to league foe Louisville to close the regular season and each of the final two games of the series will be featured on CBS College Sports. The first contest will air at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on Friday, May 20 (originally scheduled for 6:00 p.m. [ET]), while the next meeting with the Cardinals will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, May 21.

ESPNU and CBS College Sports are each available to various cable sports-package subscribers.

What’s more, the official Fighting Irish athletics web site (www.UND.com) is planning to produce free live webcasts of several home games that have not been picked up for commercial television broadcast.
