Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame (49-16) baseball team, who advanced to the College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb., today after defeating Florida State 3-1 in Tallahassee, Fla., will play Stanford (45-16) in its first game on Saturday, June 15, at 12:30 p.m. CDT (same time as South Bend). The game will be televised live by CBS.

If the Irish defeat the Cardinal, Notre Dame then will play the winner of the Rice/Texas game on Monday, June 17 at 7 p.m., in a game to be shown on live on ESPN2. If the Irish lose to Stanford, they would play the loser of the Rice/Texas game in an elimination game on Monday, June 17 at 2:30 p.m., also to be shown on ESPN2.
